Ingredients:
•1 Bunch Asparagus
•2 Cup Cooked Rice (any brand)
•4 Cloves Garlic
•1 Tsp Kosher Salt
•1 ½ Tbsp Olive Oil
•1 Tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Method:
Cut the Asparagus in to 1 inch long pieces. Make sure you discard the ends. Mince the garlic cloves (do not make a paste). In a bowl put asparagus, salt, pepper, garlic and ½ Tbsp of oil. Mix until each asparagus gets coated with the mixture. Let this sit in the fridge for about an hour.
Now, Place a non-stick pan on medium heat and add the rest of the oil to the pan. When it starts to heat up, drop the asparagus. You want to hear a sizzle here. Cook the asparagus for about 5-6 minutes until semi tender and then drop rice to this mixture. Sauté until all of the asparagus mixes well with the rice.
This is healthy, tasty, and simple to make and be enjoyed with loved ones!
Tips:
1) Works excellent with left over rice.
2) You can add few crushed chili flakes for more flavor
3) Brown rice could be interesting too
